Born October 7, 1929 in Louisdale to the late William and Mary Barb (Marchand) Burns. Arthur was a lifetime member of the Local 1588 of the carpenter’s union. He worked on many large-scale projects especially in the Strait area. He was considered to be a strong capable and respected employee at difficult and dangerous job sites.
